State of Georgia
This is the last Will and Testament of me JOHN GLEN of the City of Savannah in the State aforesaid Attorney at Law.

First I give to my son GEORGE my large silver cup with two handles to it, fellow to the one I give my son JAMES.

Secondly, I give my large silver bowl to my son THOMAS...

Thirdly I give my large two Gallon bowl to my daughter MARGARET HUNTER wf Of Mr. WILLIAM HUNTER.

Fourthly, I give all the rest of my plate, household and kitchen furniture, beds, bedsteads,& beddings to my beloved wife SARAH and wish she may divide the plate between her & my daughters SARAH BULLOCH wf of MR. ARCHD STOBO BULLOCK or give her a full equivilent thirds.

Fifthly, I give, devise and bequeath the use of all the reset, residue and remainder of my Estate, real and personal to my beloved wife SARAH during her widowhood, And in case she should intermarry after my decease (which I think she has now prudence to do having so large a family of children, it is my will that negroes be as Equally divided between her and all my children as may be and that my real Estate be sold by my executors hereafter named for the best price that can or may be had for the same either on accredit or otherwise as my Executors may think most advantageous to my said wife and children, and that the money arising from the Sale thereof be equally divided between her & my said children. But in case my said Wife should not intermarry, I give the use of all my said Estate real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever, not herein before disposed of, to her my said wife during her life, and from & after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same to and among all my children and to their respective heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns to be Equally divided between them share and share alike,

Lastly I do hereby nominate, constiture and appoint my said beloved wife SARAH Executrix and my much esteemed father in law,

NOBLE WIMBERLY JONES ESQ. my brother in law GEORGE JONES ESQ and my two sons JAMES and GEORGE GLEN & the Survivors & survivor or them Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former or other Wills by me at any time heretofore made, In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the first of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Six.

Before me EDWARD WHITE Register of Probate for the County of Chatham in the State aforesaid appeared EBINEZER JACKSON ESQ. one of the subscribing witnesses of the foregoing last will and Testament of JOHN GLEN late of the City of Savannah Esq. deceased who being duly sworn saith that he was present and did see the said Testator sign, seal, and publish & declared the same to be and contain his last Will and Testament and that he was of sound mind at the time to the best of this deponent, belief, and that PHINEAS MILLER and JOHN HOWELL together with the deponant subscribed their names as witnesses at the request & in the presence of the testator and each other.
